American Flyer (United Artists 1976)

     Disco d'esordio per il supergruppo American Flyer che si presenta come un buon lavoro di country rock, anche se la produzione di George Martin tende spesso a sovraorchestrare musicalmente i brani.
     In ogni caso l'album é sicuramente valido e pezzi come "Light of your love" e "Back in '57" sono ottimi esempi della west coast music che andava per la maggiore in quegli anni, memorie di un sound californiano che resiste all'usura del tempo e che ancora oggi si ascolta con molto piacere.
     Anche le rimanenti composizioni del disco sono pił che buone, per cui se amate i pił conosciuti Eagles e Poco, potete tranquillamente comprare questo album. Vi piacerą.
