Baby I'm-A Want You (Elektra 1972)

     Questo é il quarto lavoro per i Bread, ed é sicuramente un disco migliore del precedente ed incerto "Manna". All'interno dell'album troviamo infatti parecchi brani di alto livello che potremmo certamente includere in un ipotetico greatest hits della band. Partendo dalla splendida title track e passando per le notevoli "Down on my knees", "Everything I own" e "Daughter", abbiamo una bella scelta di ottimi pezzi nel perfetto stile soft-rock tipico del gruppo. Da notare che da questo disco entra a far parte della band il polistrumentista Larry Knechtel, che sostituisce Robb Royer, bassista e membro originale del gruppo, che rimane in ogni caso come compositore.
