     Valido autore responsabile di alcuni buoni successi anche negli '80, Brian Elliot pubblica come interprete un solo album nel 1978, con la presenza di una serie impressionante di musicisti californiani. Il lavoro, riascoltandolo oggi, rimane piacevole in vari episodi ma presenta anche alcuni difetti tipici del periodo. I brani, infatti, sono tutti buoni ma qualche sovraorchestrazione di troppo e alcuni eccessi di violini in tipica chiave disco, li rendono abbastanza datati. In ogni caso, chi ama il sound di L.A., non può non acquistare questo album, sia perché la lista degli ospiti lo esige, ma anche perché é impossibile resistere all'orecchiabilità di pezzi come "Queens of clowns" e "Las Vegas wedding", o all'ottima sezione fiati di "Room to grow".
