Circus Maxx

     Sconosciuta band del Minnesota che incide un altrettanto sconosciuto album nel 1978 per la piccola etichetta locale Round Corner. Malgrado la scarsa notorietà il lavoro è molto interessante, ben suonato ed arrangiato. Il sound proposto é una bella miscela di pop, soul, funk e jazz con una buona sezione fiati sempre in evidenza che richiama il suono di gruppi come Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears e Average White Band. I brani, tutti originali scritti dai componenti dale band, sono di buon livello e rendono sicuramente consigliabile l'ascolto dell'album
