Denne and Gold

     I due musicisti inglesi Micky Denne e Ken Gold acquistano notorietà nel 1976 quando appaiono come autori nell'album "I'm Nearly Famous" di Cliff Richard. Il grande successo arriva nello stesso anno con l'album d'esordio dei Real Thing, che contiene la loro "You to me are everything" che vola ai vertici delle classifiche europee. Hanno così l'occasione di pubblicare per la MCA un disco a loro nome che esce nel 1978. Il lavoro è un discreto prodotto di musica pop-soul dalle influenze disco, forse non molto originale ma piacevole da ascoltare. I due artisti riscuotono maggior successo producendo e scrivendo brani per i Delegation, gruppo soul britannico che arriva ai vertici delle classifiche nel 1979 con il singolo "You And I".
