Bix Phillip

     Cantautore di christian music, Bix Phillip incide e pubblica privatamente due musicassette rispettivamente nel 1978 (Limited Edition) e nel 1980 (Bix). Nel 1982 riesce a firmare un contratto con la piccola etichetta Glorysound che gli fornisce la possibilità di utilizzare alcuni noti musicisti di CCM come Kenny Malone, Dann Huff e David Briggs. Nel disco, che esce nello stesso anno, l'artista riprende alcuni brani delle sue precedenti incisioni unendoli ad altri scritti per l'occasione. Ne esce un lavoro di piacevole ascolto che, al di là dei testi di carattere religioso e di qualche pezzo eccessivamente melodico, presenta un bel sound pop dalle influenze funk e jazz.
