E' veramente difficile presentare una lista dei propri dischi preferiti, si rischia sempre di lasciare fuori qualcosa o di attuare dei criteri di scelta non da tutti condivisi. I dischi sotto elencati rispecchiano esclusivamente i miei gusti personali che, in ogni caso, abbracciano pił di un genere musicale. Sono dischi che non mi stanco mai di ascoltare e che, dopo innumerevoli passaggi sul mio stereo, sono ancora in grado di fornire emozioni. Potrei definire questa musica in tanti modi, con tanti nomi, quasi sempre sbagliati, ma ho voluto lo stesso classificare il sound che con il termine di West Coast, un termine usato anche da tantissimi appassionati del genere e che fa riferimento ad una musica sofisticata, ricercata negli arrangiamenti, al di fuori delle mode e del tempo, e che mantiene ancora oggi immutate le sue grandi qualitą. L'ordine non é preferenziale, ma esclusivamente alfabetico.
